Michael Marshall is Editor and News Vice President of The Press-Register. Mr. Marshall's career at The Register began in 1973, when he was hired as a copyboy. He has been with the paper since working various positions such as police reporter, copy editor, movie reviewer, computer systems editor, columnist, feature writer, graphics design editor and managing editor. In 1999, he was promoted to his current position. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Marshall serves on the boards of Mobile United, the United Way of Southwest Alabama, the Community Foundation of South Alabama and the Salvation Army. He is a trustee of Spring Hill College.
