Prior to his current assignment, Jim Van Fleet was a meteorologist for WFAA and Texas Cable News in Dallas. He was the chief meteorologist for KXXV, KVII in Texas and KSWO in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Van Fleet is a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. He holds a National Weather Association Television Seal of Approval. He studied Meteorology and Climatology from Baylor University.
