Matt Valley started with the overnight weekend shift and worked up to the full-time overnight host. He then moved on to the Mid-days at the oldies station and then the night guy at an Oldies Station in Orlando, Florida. In October of 1995 he returned to Anchorage and began the "Matt Valley Commute" on KBEAR 104.1 in the afternoons. In April of 1995 he moved to the morning show with Jim and has been there since.
