Jack O'Leary, best known as Father O'Leary, covers the sport of golf, including the people, the game and the industry, for Golfing Magazine.[CR-LF][CR-LF]As a veteran sports writer, he has covered all major sports. Mr. O'Leary began covering golf as a writer for the Boston Herald, a position he held for 13 years. He then went on to serve as the associate editor of Senior Golfer Magazine, and later became the creator and editor in chief of Florida Golf Monthly.[CR-LF]Mr. O'Leary has also worked as a freelance golf writer for several national golf & travel publications. His work over the years has earned him four national golf writing awards.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. O'Leary is a member of the Golf Writers Association of America, and has been for 25 years. He was also the first president and is a 17 year member of the International Network of Golf.
