Mr. Llamas Verified

Ramon Llamas is a Research Analyst with IDC's Worldwide Mobile Phone Tracker program. This quarterly program tracks unit shipments of mobile phones and converged mobile devices at a worldwide, regional and country level perspective, producing vendor market share and a technology-level segmentation. In this role, he gathers and analyzes information from a large roster of mobile phone vendors, carriers, and software providers, and applies his market expertise to develop an accurate, segmented view of the worldwide mobile telephony devices industry. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Llamas worked as a student affairs administrator at New Hampshire College and at the Pennsylvania State University. After five years of working in higher education, he began an MBA program at Babson College, concentrating in Marketing. While attending school, he held an internship at Forrester Research, Inc. in its marketing/public relations department, and at Eduventures, assisting with market research and market sizing for the education economy.
