She has been an associate producer and reporter at WFSB-TV Channel 3 in Hartford and a general assignment reporter with WVII-TV News Channel 7 in Bangor, Maine. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Latina's journalistic talents have earned her numerous awards. The Society of Professional Journalists has honored her with a number of awards, including the Spot News Award, the Associated Press' Investigative Enterprise Story of the Year, and the Mark Twain Award for Station Excellence. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Latina was born and raised in Connecticut and is married to Anthony Latina, an assistant men's basketball coach at Central Connecticut State University. She lives with her husband and with her son. Latina is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University, where she excelled in communications and English.
