Brenda Ladun is an anchor and consumer reporter for ABC 33/40 News at WJSU-TV and at WCFT-TV. Additionally, she anchors at WBMA-TV. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Ladun is a five-time winner of the Alabama Associated Press Awards for Best Investigative Reporter and Best Specialized reporter. Most recently, she won the Associated Press Award for best anchor. Several community awards were presented to Ladun for her work with the Grace House Christian Home for Girls, The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and other community organizations.[CR-LF][CR-LF]In February of 2001, Ms. Ladun was diagnosed with breast cancer and has since made it a priority to make sure the public has access to cancer information through the Cancer Resource Center on the station's website.
