Mr. Fred Chappell is a contributing editor for The Georgia Review. He is also a teacher at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. He is the author of a dozen books of verse, two volumes of stories and one of criticism and seven novels.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Chappell is a recipient of the Sir Walter Raleigh Prize, the Best Foreign Book Prize from the Academie Fran?aise, the North Carolina Medal in Literature and an Award in Literature from the National Academy of Arts & Letters. His poetry has been awarded the Bollingen Prize and the Aiken Taylor Prize.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Chappell graduated from Duke University.
