Steve Bray is chief meteorologist for WISH-TV. He attended Northern Illinois University studying meteorology, graduating in 1985. Bray joined WISH-TV as weekend weather anchor in January 1995. He previously worked for WALA-TV in Mobile, Ala., KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, La., and WAND-TV in Decatur, Ill. Bray holds the seal of approval from the American Meteorological Society. He has been awarded for documentary production and weather forecasting on numerous occasions, and was named Best Weatherman in Mobile, Ala., in 1993 and 1994. Bray is a member of the American Meteorological Society. He frequently appears at local schools as a guest instructor for an informative and entertaining class on science and meteorology.
