Ann Williams is a senior writer for National Geographic magazine. Ms. Williams mainly does caption writing for the magazine's photo features. However, she also sometimes conducts interviews with prominent scientists. Recently, she wrote a series of feature articles on King Tut's mysterious death and the scientific efforts to understand his life and Egypt's history.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Previously, Ms. Williams was managing editor of Americ?s magazine, focusing on culture and archaeology of Central America. She is fluent in Spanish and has worked as a freelance writer and translator in Mexico. Ms. Williams studied classical and Near Eastern archaeology at Bryn Mawr college.
