Lisa Washington anchors News Channel 19 This Morning on Saturday and Sunday mornings and reports throughout the week. She is originally from South Carolina but has worked at various television stations in Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and Charlottesville, Va. Washington has wanted to work in television since she was in the sixth grade and is proud to be living her dream at News Channel 19. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. Washington is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and the National Association of Black Journalists. She is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, where she obtained a Bachelor's of Arts degree in mass media arts.
