Gary Sieber is best known for his weekend weather reports, complete with witty poems and engaging cross-talk, Gary is also News Director and Operations Manager for WTRC in Elkhart.[CR-LF]Sieber was a former Director of News and Public Affairs at WNDU, where he has worked since 1980, and he recently supervised the education programs offered through WNDU for the University of Notre Dame. Sieber also taught a course in Broadcast Journalism. [CR-LF][CR-LF]In addition to his weather duties, Sieber has managed the FCC regulatory and First Amendment legal matters for WNDU, and he has twice won finalist awards from the prestigious New York Festivals for his documentary writing. Currently, Gary co-anchors "NewsCenter 16 Saturday Morning" with Jack Nolan. Sieber also fills in as needed during the week. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Gary and Linda Sieber have two children: Joseph and Miranda. Sieber enjoys gardening and golf. In fact, many of his divots are big enough to plant shrubs in. He especially enjoys playing golf in celebrity outings -- or whenever someone else pays his greens fees.
