Avivah Litan has over 25 years experience in the IT industry. She covers security and privacy. Prior to joining Gartner, Litan worked as a director of financial systems at the World Bank, where she managed its multicurrency disbursement, financial, accounting, and Web-enabled global information systems for borrowers in more than eighty countries. Concurrently, she worked as a journalist and as a weekly computer columnist for the Washington Times. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Litan earned a Master of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She also graduated from an executive education course at the Harvard Business School while working at the World Bank. Litan speaks English and Hebrew.
