Mr. Judis Verified

John Judis has been a contributor to The New Republic since 1982. He was a founding editor of the Socialist Revolution in 1969, now called Socialist Review. In 1975, he started a new monthly called East Bay Voice. He moved to Washington in 1982 as the Washington correspondent to In These Times. He then began writing for The New Republic, and for GQ. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Judis? articles have also appeared in The American Prospect, The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post, Foreign Affairs, The Washington Monthly, American Enterprise, Mother Jones, and Dissent. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and a Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C. Judis is co-author of 'The Emerging Democratic Majority.'[CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Judis received his B.A. in 1963 and his M.A. in 1965 from the University of California at Berkeley. As an active member of SDS, he taught philosophy at Berkeley and at the San Francisco Art Institute.
