I have worked for media powerhouses including The New York Times, Black Enterprise, and Conde Nast. I'm a Hampton University graduate, whose work and insights have appeared on The Huffington Post, E!Online, Ebony.com, CBS News and Brazen Careerist. I'm fluent in women's issues, career advancement, guilty (TV) pleasures and Trini patois. I'm also pursuing my MAOL degree with hopes to continue enriching the lives of minority and women entrepreneurs via my consultancy, The BossMoves.My life's motto: "Happiness is a luxury afforded only to those who embrace and actively pursue their God-given purpose."

I've loved using my knack with communications, audience development, and media leadership in my more than 10 years of experience working at companies including The New York Times, Conde Nast, and Black Enterprise.

As an award-winning editor and journalist, I have managed networks of content producers and contributors across coverage areas including Beauty, Career, Tech, Small Business, and Lifestyle; helmed media strategy that has led to a more than 70% increase in traffic and reader engagement; and managed successful campaign initiatives with companies including Lexus, AT&T, IBM and PEPSI.

As a content producer and editor, I have covered Career, Tech, Business, Women's Issues, and Lifestyle, and interviewed top industry leaders including Russell Simmons, Magic Johnson, Star Jones, Venus Williams, and many more. I've interviewed Fortune 500 executives for both digital and magazine features, and I have launched successful print and digital content packages across channels and content areas.

As a consultant I have helped minority and female entrepreneurs and nonprofit founders use dynamic storytelling and strategic social media management to increase clients and/or customers, expand their reach, and build greater, more authentic impact in their industries. I have a passion for seeing minority and women entrepreneurs win---whatever "winning" looks like for them.
