Kim Grehn is currently the program director and vice president of WRLI/WNPR-FM and WPKT-FM in Hartford, CT.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Grehn's association with public radio began in 1967 at Ripon College in Wisconsin. He volunteered at the campus radio station, WRPN, where he hosted R&B, Top 40 and Blues shows. His commercial radio experience includes news, talk, AOR, country and easy listening formats. In 1979 he began volunteering at WUWM in Milwaukee as a production assistant and jazz announcer. He became the music director in 1980, overseeing all jazz and classical music programming and reporting on arts issues. In 1987 he became the music director at WBST in Muncie, Indiana. In 1988 Grehn was hired by WNPR to be its first full-time music director. A year later he was named the station's program director.
