Dawne Gee joined WAVE-TV 3 in August 1994. In addition to being an anchor, she has also produced the WAVE-TV 3 Step Awards which aired its first live broadcast in February 1997. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Active in the community, Ms. Gee is on the Jefferson County Minority AIDS Foundation Board and is an alumnae of the University of Louisville. She serves as a board member of the Red Cross. Ms. Gee also donates her time to the Spina Bifida Association, Arthritis Foundation, American Cancer Society, African Americans Against Cancer and the National Council for Negro Women, MS Society, American Lung Association and the Lupus Foundation.
