Ms. Gallant Verified

Sandy Gallant serves as a morning and midday anchor for WEEK-TV, but also covers medical stories during the week. She joined the station in January 2001 and her broadcast career began as a producer and freelance reporter for WTWC-TV in Tallahassee, Fla. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Ms. Gallant is a member of the Junior League of Peoria. She is also on the board of directors for Family House, serves on the Board of Directors for Family House, and works on the development committee for Crittenton Centers, Inc. Gallant also finds time to volunteer at events benefitting the Children's Miracle Network, the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Midwest Affiliate, Military Moms, and the Alzheimer's Association. [CR-LF][CR-LF]In her free time, Ms. Gallant enjoys cooking, gardening, and cheering on the Florida State Seminoles. She and her husband, Matt, live in Peoria. She graduated from Florida State University and Tallahassee Community College, and is working on a certificate in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University.
