Lew Carter has been in broadcast radio as a general manager, program director, and air personality since 1950. He first met with the founding group of WRKF in the fall of 1976. He was the President of WRKF October 1978 to October 1980. Lew is the founder or co-founder of ten non-profit organizations. He is also an active volunteer in numerous local public service groups.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Carter has been on the air on WRKF from January 1980 to the present. He can be heard on air during the Saturday morning "For Old Time's Sake" and "Sunday Baroque" programs from 5-7a.m.
