Bob Burk graduated with a Bachelor?s Degree from Pittsburg State University and currently lives in Pittsburg.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Bob began his career in radio in 1990 at KKOY in Chanute, Kansas. In 1996, Bob moved to Pittsburg to join the team at KKOW-FM as the evening announcer. About a year later Bob was promoted to the afternoon-drive shift, where he spent the next 11 years as one of the mainstay voices of 96.9, The Kow. During his tenure at KKOW Bob also served as a sales representative to several advertisers. [CR-LF][CR-LF]As Coordinator of Underwriting and Listener Relations, Bob will serve as the liaison for businesses that underwrite programming on KRPS. Bob will will oversee the planning and execution of on-air fund raising for KRPS, as well.
