Prior to working for WISH-TV, Angela Buchman was a morning and noon meteorologist for KCRA-TV in Sacramento, California. At KRCA she was voted the city's Best Television Weather Person by Sacramento Magazine in 2000. Also while at KRCA, Buchman received her AMS Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society.[CR-LF] [CR-LF]After graduating from Hamilton Southeastern High School, Angela Buchman went on to Purdue University where she was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Science. While at Purdue, she worked for the National Weather Service and also began her broadcast career at WLFI-TV, the CBS affiliate in Lafayette.
