She left Gannett in 2001 to pursue a freelance career, and today operates a marketing communications company.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Bowman Woods worked on the news staff for the Disciples' 1999 and 2001 General Assemblies and did freelance work for DisciplesWorld before becoming news editor in March of 2003.
