Lynn Addison has extensive experience in the field of journalism.[CR-LF]From 1978 to 1984 she was a writer and editor at Time-Life Books. In 1984, she took a position as editor with the National Geographic Society's book division, and, in 1988, she joined the National Geographic Traveler staff as a senior editor. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Also a former features editor of National Geographic Magazine, beginning in 1998, Ms. Addison covered travel, non-U.S. culture, exotic locations, flora and fauna and geography and topography. [CR-LF][CR-LF]In 2000, she and her team were honored by the Society of Environmental Journalists for their piece entitled, 'Global Climate Change,' an in-depth expose of increased global warming. Ms. Addison graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a Bachelor's degree in English and from Stanford University with an Master's in communication.
