Miles Prescott aids research initiatives among clients across AMR Research?s process, discrete, and retail industries. He provides trend data that is used for analysis and also conducts vendor assessment and capabilities information. Prescott works closely with the client research group in identifying research offerings by client, works with the research staff in planning client interactions, and contributes to written AMR Research publications.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Prescott brings to his clients more than 12 years of experience as a technology industry analyst, assisting with the IT initiatives of users and profiling vendor products and strategies. In addition to providing clients with critical research in ERP, supply chain, manufacturing, and enabling technologies, Mr. Prescott also assists his manufacturing clients with system selection in each of these areas. He previously ran the System Selection Process at AMR Research, tracking hundreds of application decisions.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Prior to AMR Research, Mr. Prescott worked with Renaissance Group International (RGI), where he provided market research and analysis for Fortune 100 computer manufacturers. He has also worked independently on projects for several IT research and consulting firms, including International Data Corporation, BIS Strategic Decisions, TFS, Reliability Ratings, and Venture Economics.
