Mr. Patterson Verified

Ryan Patterson is a Senior Analyst Account Manager in IDC's Investment Research Services (IRS) group. Patterson also manages and is co-founder of IDC's Private Vendor Watch Service (PVWS). In his role he manages most of IDC's private equity/venture capital accounts addressing a myriad of technology research needs and facilitating services, data analysis, analyst forums and calls, custom requests and addressing the needs of their overall IDC relationship. [CR-LF][CR-LF]For the PVWS, Patterson is responsible for delivering in-depth analyses on emerging private vendors across all technology industries, providing reports for key questions designed for and by the financial community. He works with over 800 IDC analysts to create custom, powerful vendor profiles and segmentation analysis for private equity and small private vendor analysis. Patterson's research focuses on smaller, private vendors in up and coming markets, leveraging IDC analysts' unbiased opinions and knowledge of these companies as a result of recent briefings.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Prior to joining IDC, Patterson engaged in mobile wireless sales, responsible for both consumer and small enterprise markets. In addition, he provided sales training on new technologies and features of business enabled handsets and devices, and engaged in the design and deployment of customer engagement applications.
