As a trained journalist turned multimedia content producer, I bring curiosity, attention to detail and a deadline-driven approach to the creation of news-style content for television, print, podcast and web platforms. I have a Masters in Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles and a B.S. in journalism from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications, where I graduated as valedictorian and University Scholar in 1999.

For the past five years, I've produced health-related news segments sponsored by University of Miami Health System airing on WPLG (ABC-10) in South Florida. My areas of interest include but are not limited to: healthcare, higher education, media, and government/non-profit sectors.

I'm always on the lookout for mission-driven projects with a creative component. As a writer, I bring more than 20 years of experience to executing everything from long-form stories to scripts and social media posts. My recent passion project, The Methods Section, is a capsule public health news podcast I hosted, produced and shared through iTunes as well as the website www.publichealthmethods.org
