Hillary Howard is an anchor, reporter, writer and weathercaster who has worked at various broadcast outlets around Washington since arriving in 1989. She was originally a radio newsperson in suburban New York, Hillary jumped to television as a weathercaster and reporter in the Catskills. She was a weekend weather forecaster at WAVY-TV in Norfolk, Va., and again at WTTG (Fox 5) in Washington, D.C. until taking over the weekend anchor slot. At WUSA-TV, she was the morning weather forecaster from 2000 to 2004. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Howard has won an Emmy for best weathercaster in Washington, and has also won statues for hard news and feature reporting. Hillary also won a Chesapeake AP Award and took an Imagen Award for a story impacting the Hispanic community. Howard's report about the pfiesteria outbreak on Maryland's Eastern Shore placed as a finalist in the New York TV and Film Festivals. She also does narrations and has written for HGTV.
