Richelle Carey joined CNN Headline News in June 2006. Carey is a former anchor at KMOV-TV in Saint Louis, Mo., where she worked for three years. Prior to joining KMOV-TV, she worked at KVVU-TV in Las Vegas, where she was a morning news anchor. Previously, Carey was an anchor at NBC affiliate KETK-TV in Tyler, Texas, and a reporter in Waco, Texas at KWTX-TV. She began her career as an associate producer for KPRC-TV in Houston.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Some of Carey's most important reporting assignments include covering Fort Hood while in Waco, Texas, the largest military installation in the world. Another story that has had an impact on Carey's career involved spending a week in Bosnia completing a four-part series on the work of soldiers in the First Cavalry there.
