The Ecommerce Foundation has worked hard to establish a global e-Commerce trust seal under the name Safe.Shop. The Ecommerce foundation aimed for a seal that is recognized by consumers all over the world. And with success, Safe.Shop has been used in Croatia, Brazil, South Africa and many other countries.
Despite the success of Safe.shop, the Ecommerce foundation has chosen to fully focus on their other successful service: Scamadvisor. Which tries to warn consumers about potential fraud websites and therefore, they have decided to sell off Safe.Shop.
In the new owner, TrustProfile.com, the Ecommerce foundation has found a company with shared ambitions and a proven track record. TrustProfile will continue to work hard on its ambition to present a globally recognisable and uniform trust profile on online shops to consumers.
The takeover will be completed at the beginning of November, all affiliated shops will have the opportunity to register with TrustProfile free of charge.

The existing members of Safe.Shop will be taken over by TrustProfile. The website owners each receive a unique link with which they can claim their TrustProfile. In order to increase accessibility for all, Trustprofile offers freemium use. Additionally, paid services will be available.
