Mathias Felipe Lima Santos is a journalist.

 Having a plethora of experience in media and storytelling as well as living in different societies, this is why, while trying to quench my curiosity as an outsider, I have realized that there are no correct answers without the right questions.

As a journalist and technologist, I am usually ahead of the learning curve when it comes to technology, media and innovation. Technology changes everything it touches, and this has happened to me when I moved to Europe to obtain a Masters in Digital Communication Leadership - Media Management, in which I have conducted extensive research on the transforming digital content landscape, data, and visualization in journalism and media.

Out of the myriad of experiences an individual has and elements he/she encounters, a few critical ones spark his/her interests. In my case, while I was working in international organizations in Latin America and Europe, in a diverse range of areas such as Sports, Business, Digital Communications, Digital and Data Journalism, and Social Media and also visiting more than 50 countries, I have realized what these lived experiences have inspired me and awaken my passion for traveling and learning different cultures, and writing about other people's stories.

Today I'm satisfying my curiosity by devoting my time in researching and learning more about the intersection between journalism, technology, and business, especially concerning the issues surrounding the use of technology in the news production, such as data, automation, and AI.

And I'm always looking forward to finding the next journey to quench my eternal curiosity.
