JACK LOSH

Jack Losh is a journalist, producer/director and photographer with a focus on conflict, conservation and humanitarian issues whose assignments have spanned Europe, Africa and the Middle East. His words and photos are published by The Washington Post, The Guardian, BBC News, Newsweek, The Times and other leading outlets. He has directed and produced documentaries for Al Jazeera English and The Guardian, which have been shown at international film festivals and nominated at top-tier awards. He has spoken on major broadcasters—BBC Radio 4, BBC World Service, NPR, Al Jazeera, CBC News, Public Radio International—and helped produce live, on-the-ground programming for NBC News during the London and Manchester terror attacks, the Grenfell Tower disaster and the Notre Dame fire.

Jack has undertaken hostile-environment and first-aid training, carries high-grade PPE, has full press accreditation and is a member of the Frontline Freelance Register. He previously worked for several years with the national press in London..
