Yanni Moutsos is a journalist-TV Host based in Athens, Greece. Currently - News Anchor for MEGA TV (www.megatv.com)

I am a media practitioner focusing on broadcast presentation and field reports.

I have extensive professional experience in various media fields, covering Print, Electronic media and TV, Social Media and Crisis Media Management.

Since August 2018, I have been involved in the setup of  a new media venture by Mr Evangelos Marinakis, "ONE CHANNEL". The TV station has been constructed and setup from scratch, intended for online broadcast as first.

I have long experience on TV news hosting especially on breaking news stories lasting several hours. Currently i am the central news anchor, and acting editor in chief.

I have worked as a Media Producer at the PR and Marketing Department at the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary in the UK.

Since 2004 I have been employed in Greek national television channels (Alter TV, Epsilon TV, Alpha TV) in various posts,mainly as a reporter and host. I have also hosted and produced the weekly news report for New Greek TV based in New York USA.

In 2011 i have edited and hosted my own TV programme, “Terra Incognita” once a week, aired by Kontra Channel, Athens Greece.

I have produced, researched and directed a 71 minute news and current affairs documentary titled "#Greek Riots - A Social Media War " analyzing the media approaches during the events of December 2008, sparked by the killing of the 16 year old boy, Alexandros Grigiropoulos.

I hold a Masters’ Degree in Quality Journalism and New Technologies (Social Media), awarded by the University of Krems in Austria, a Masters’ degree in Television and Documentary Production and a Bachelor of Arts in Media (Multimedia journalism) and Business Management by the University of Manchester, United Kingdom..
