Mr. Vern Williams is photo director of the New Haven Register. He covers local, regional, and national news.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Mr. Williams has served as photo director of the New Haven Register for the past 15 years where he has directed a photography staff of 13 in the production of photographs and illustrations. His previous experience included serving as photography and design editor for The Sun Herald in Biloxi, Miss.; design editor and photographer for the Island Packet, of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; and an independent documentary photographer.
