Teri Schultz is a freelance reporter based in Brussel, Belgium covering NATO, the European Union, the Benelux. Her focus is on current affairs, political news, foreign policy and security issues. Her clients include NPR, CBS News and Deutsche Welle.

 You can hear me on your NPR stations and see me on Deutsche Welle (DW) television and your PBS broadcasts of DW's "The Day."

My broadcasting career has taken me all over the world, covering the European Union, NATO, Russia and global hotspots such as Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Middle East, with a special focus on transatlantic relations, security, defense, intelligence and counter-terrorism.

Currently based in Brussels, Belgium, I host my own podcast "Channeling Brussels", sponsored by the Atlantic Council, and am a speaker, moderator and trainer in international affairs. I also keep a close eye on what's happening in my home state of New Mexico (my journalism degree is from NMSU) and my adopted country of Finland (where I got a MSc in International Relations and learned to speak Finnish.)
