SANJA KNEZEVIC

Sanja Knezevic is a photojournalist, regular contributor to the National Geographic Serbia. She has published her work and collaborated with: National Geographic, Vice UK, Boston Globe, Open Society Foundations, Amnesty International, Financial Times, NRC, GeoLino... She was chosen to participate at World Press Photo - SEE New Perspectives Masterclass in Berlin, as well as Noor-Nikon in Bucharest. While she lived in Indonesia she traveled Southeast Asia region and documented various cultural and social issues. She holds MA photography from the Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Belgrade. Sanja is also involved in photography education.

2014 Belgrade, The portfolio winner of the ”100 Best”, ReFoto Magazine contest, on the occasion of its 100th issue.

2013 Kiev,  Second prize for ”Kamar” story – Golden Camera International Award

2012 Washington D.C. ‘’FotoDC’’ First prize for portrait from ‘’Kamar’’ series.

2012 Belgrade, ‘’Beta photo of the year’’ Grand Prix in Serbia for the photography ‘’Mother and daughter’’
