Producer Margaret Prescod is one of the hosts for "Morning Review", broadcasted Monday through Friday from 7 - 8 a.m. on KPFK-FM. She is the host of "Morning Review: The Sojourner Truth Edition", a drive-time public affairs show on Tuesdays from 7 - 8 a.m.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Prescod is a UN representative for the Category 2 NGO, Women In Dialogue, and in 1995 led the lobby efforts of International Women Count Network's delegation to the Fourth UN World conference on Women. She also co-coordinates the Every Mother Is a Working Mother Network (EMWM), and is a co-founder of the Coalition of Grassroots Women that organized for the first official U.S. Conference on Women.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Margaret has worked in various communities, and in the international arena on a variety of civil, economic and human rights issues ranging from women's right to welfare, institutional racism, resources for students, women and prison issues, immigration controls, economic restructuring to pay equity, police illegalities, environmental racism and other issues.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Her work has been covered in the Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian of London and other print media in the U.S., Europe and China.
