Mr. Farr Nezhat, M.D., FACOG, FACS, is an editor for The Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology. He is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of Gynecologic Minimally Invasive Surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He also serves as the Director of Gynecologic Oncology at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, New York. [CR-LF][CR-LF]In addition to authoring more than 120 scientific articles and over 50 book chapters, Dr. Nezhat is co-author of two textbooks that detail his techniques. He serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology and is past President of The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons for the year 2002. He is a member of several different medical societies and serves as an advisor in some. Dr. Nezhat practices and performs surgeries at Mount Sinai Hospital and Mercy Medical Center, and has private practices in Garden City and Manhattan.
