Ed Kieser is working as a meteorologist in both radio and television. He hosts elaborate weather presentations. He holds the American Meteorological Society's Seal of Approval for weathercasting on both radio and television. He was named best media personality by readers of the Champaign-Urbana weekly, the Octopus. In 2005 Ed Kieser received a "Certified Broadcast Meteorologist" award, the highest broadcast certification, from the American Meteorological Society. He is the 11th person in the country to receive this award. He also recently received a Campus Award for Excellence in Public Engagement.[CR-LF][CR-LF]Every Friday, Kieser or WILL-AM weather producer Mike Sola hosts the popular Talk to Ed and Talk to Mike segments that air at 7:50 am and 12:40 pm.
