Richard Heinberg, the owner of MuseLetter, is also a journalist, an editor and a faculty member at the New College of California. He teaches on issues related to energy and society, culture, ecology, and maintaining a sustainable community. He is an honored member of Strathmore's Who's Who Registry, the International Society for the Comparative Study of Civilizations, and Mighty Companions. He is listed on Marquis' Who's Who in the World. He is also an accomplished violinist and illustrator/book designer. His book Renewal of Culture won the 1997 Books to Live By Award of Excellence from Body/Mind/Spirit magazine. Heinberg has also written essays which have appeared in the Futurist, Intuition, the Sun, Brain/Mind Bulletin, Magical Blend, and New Dawn. He has lectured widely, having appeared on national radio and television in five countries and has traveled to Sweden.
