Mike Greenberg is anchor for SportsCenter - ESPN. Greenberg joined ESPNews (ESPN's 24-hour sports news network) as an anchor in 1996. He was named co-host of ESPN Radio's morning show on December 30, 1999, and continues his anchor role for ESPN's SportsCenter. Prior to joining ESPN, Greenberg had worked as a sports anchor/reporter for the regional cable news network CLTV in Chicago, IL since April 1995. While there, he covered all local sports teams for the 24-hour cable news network, anchored sportscasts and hosted SportsPage, a one-hour Sunday night program featuring live guests and viewer calls. In Chicago, he was also a sports reporter for radio stations WMAQ and WSCR from 1992 to 1996, serving as a reporter covering events including the World Series and the Super Bowl, and talk show host. and a sports anchor for cable TV station CNTV. From 1994 to 1995, Greenberg worked as a reporter for SportsChannel Chicago. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Greenberg also worked as a syndicated sports columnist for the California-based Copley News Service, writing a weekly column. Born August 6, 1967, Greenberg is a 1989 graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. The New York city native is married with one daughter.
