Danny Clinkscale is a veteran broadcaster who is a familiar voice to Kansas City listeners in a wide variety of roles. He has done play-by-play of top level professional and college sports including stints with Colgate University, Washburn University, the University of Kansas, and the American Hockey League. He has broadcast eight Major League baseball Hall of Fame games, and last season was the voice of the Kansas City T-Bones. He is currently the voice of UMKC men's basketball. He fills a variety of roles for Sports Radio 810. He is a sportscenter anchor and show contributor on Between the Lines with Kevin Kietzman, co-hosts College Football Gameday and Chief's Postgame. He has been a sports director, talk show host, reporter, and play-by-play announcer in Worcester, Mass., Syracuse, N.Y., Topeka and Kansas City. [CR-LF][CR-LF]Clinksdale is a native of the Boston area, coming from a broadcasting family. His father was a long time television news anchorman. He is an avid runner and golfer. He also enjoys detective fiction, particularly the work of Raymond Chandler, and is a cinema buff, particularly the films of the 30's and 40's. He is married to Jayne Siemens. He has two daughters, Cassady and Kennedy. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas.
