Tony Carter is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Hospital Marketing and Public Relations. He is also a professor of Sales and Marketing at Columbia University. His case studies and research on marketing, sales, and management have been adopted and used by universities and organizations around the world. He has conducted research in Belgium, China, and Poland. He is the recipient of the Wall Street Journal Award. He served in Columbia Universitys Graduate School of Business as the associate faculty director of the Executive Management Programs for Sales Management and Key Account Management. He has been a guest lecturer at universities, including the Caucasus School of Business in Tbilisi and Georgia. He is the chair of the Russ Berrie Institutes Center for Sales Management. He holds a JD, MBA, and PhD.
