Mr. Byers Verified

Lyndon Svi Byers better known as ?LB? was born on 2/29/64 in the city of Nipawin in Saskatchewan, Canada. Byers first played ice hockey with a small team called the Notre Dame Midget Hounds of the SMHL. Soon after LB spent 3 seasons with the Regina Pats scoring 32 goals in two consecutive seasons. Then he was selected with the 39th pick overall by the Boston Bruins. He was on his way to one of the most storied NHL franchises in hockey history. [CR-LF][CR-LF]LB was known as a brawler who would knock out virtually anyone in his path. Byers trademark was gritty play and a relentless attitude on the ice. He fought all the way to a Stanley Cup Final in 1987-88 where he recorded the last goal scored by a Bruin in a Cup final. [CR-LF][CR-LF]LB?s attitude and fan fare got him involved in the edgy ?Hillman Morning Show? on WAAF in Boston. LB was such a hit that he was asked to join the crew as their sports director. Since joining the Hillman Morning Show many in Boston feel that he has transformed the face of sports radio in Boston.
