Anna Carolina Rodrigues

Anna Carolina Rodrigues is a Freelance journalist based in São Paulo, Brazil

2018 was a year of broadening horizons. I left the newsroom and looked for different reporting jobs. I helped Think Olga create the #ElaFazHistória page for Facebook, prepared news impact reports on brands with Cortex, edited Cláudia Award videos for social networks and fought fake news with Comprova during the elections, among others.

From 2014 to 2018, I worked as a reporter for Você S/A magazine, with contributions to the sister magazine Você RH. I am very interested in the impacts and contributions of technology at work and in topics related to diversity.

I'm always looking for the best format to tell good stories. In 2017, I became a voracious listener of podcasts, helped to reformulate Você S/A's Instagram and started to venture into the world of video editing with the project Ganha-Pão. All this while making guidelines for the print edition and application of the magazine and traveling to several cities in Brazil to carry out the survey for Guia Você S/A - The Best Companies to Work.

Recently, my passion for video games was rewarded with the opportunity to co-author the book Almanaque de Games (Panda Books, 2016).

As a reporter, I have collaborated with vehicles such as Folha de S. Paulo (Mercado, Folhainvest, Mundo, Cotidiano and Careers & Business); Estadão (Economy, Paladar and Agência Estado); Valor Econômico, Veja.com (Economy and Business publishing house). In addition to the magazines Brasil Energia, Exame, Mundo Estranho, Playboy, Superinteressante, Time Out Rio, Veja, Veja Rio and Veja São Paulo.

I also have experiences as a production assistant and assistant director in three series aired on the Multishow channel. And, most recently, as a casting producer for GNT's "Fale Conosco" program on YouTube.

I participated in the State Course on Economic Journalism, with an extension course in Economics and Finance at FGV and in the Abril Journalism Course 2012. I also took the documentary course at AIC, in São Paulo.
