* Who I Am: I'm an award-winning wordsmith, editor and content planner with significant experience in traditional journalism, brand journalism, editing, copywriting, video production, digital media and marketing. Basically I dig up and build multi-channel stories, capitalizing on big-picture storytelling opportunities for media, agencies and organizations. * What I'm Doing Now: After 20 eventful years of writing, exploring and creating in St. Louis, I headed east in 2020 to be closer to family. * What I Do in General: I tell stories about people who care -- people who make your heart grow three sizes when they explain the genesis of their ideas or gush about meaningfully helping their communities. I'm an editor and writer who loves composing longform, but I'm also often hired for full storytelling because that's just how my brain sees things. My jam is planning comprehensive copy, photo, video and digital packages to solve puzzles and showcase ideas with spark.

* Some Things I've Done: Built a regional storytelling publication and platform about community and civic initiatives that changed local sentiment and pride, created a magazine featuring global innovators to spark collaboration and sponsorship, coordinated a newspaper's photography coverage during the big social justice movement of 2014, cultivated one million fans around two quirky web properties, launched print, video and radio storytelling for a university to recruit its largest freshman class.

* Why I'm Even More Awesome: I'm excellent at brand consistency, video shoot logistics, proofreading and pulling emotional soundbites from otherwise-aloof interview subjects. I'm also a former karaoke DJ with a penchant for singing U2 and Miley Cyrus. Valuable skills, I swear.
