I write about all manner of subjects from travel, lifestyle & relationships to wellbeing, wildlife and parenting. The last two are often interchangeable. I take photos, too.

But for the plague, I'd have spent much of the past year on assignment for The Telegraph and The Times. (Some trips I've even had the joy of cancelling twice.) Instead, I've spent lockdown creating content for private clients on topics as diverse as partnership disputes, equal rights in the workplace, British contemporary art, menopausal health, and ludicrously expensive jewellery.

While not how I'd planned to spend 2020 (er, hello, Four Seasons), the widely differing subject matter has been a Godsend during these Groundhog days. At least something changed, even if it wasn't the view. Plus, I now know my Boivin from my Bulgari, and the difference between Hambling, Hirst and HRT. (Only one of which I'm ever likely to own, but still.)
