AquaTru is proud to collaborate with Pastor Derrick Aldridge of Second Chance Church to distribute free AquaTru water purifiers and over 2,000 high-quality KN95 masks to those most at risk in the Flint, Michigan, community, including local nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Six years after the start of the lead crisis, the community of Flint is still struggling to access clean water. Even though the city has replaced about 85 percent of the lead pipes serving its water system, the lead pipe replacement program has been temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, still leaving some residents without safe water in their homes.
