YoGeo, Inc, a Silicon Valley technology company with "smart address technologies," today announced it has joined Digital Twin Consortium¢ as a Groundbreaker.
YoGeo is delighted to join the Digital Twin Consortium as a Groundbreaker to launch this important initiative. Digital Twin Consortium is a necessary step to accelerate the nascent cottage industry of digital modeling, simulation and analysis. As a technology startup in Silicon Valley focused on spatial identity and intelligence of everyday objects, YoGeo sees the Digital Twin Consortium as an essential step towards standardization and interoperability for modeling of physical systems and their behaviors that can be simulated for optimization.
Dr. Sridhar Jagannathan, CEO and co-founder of YoGeo, said, "Digital Twin technologies have existed for many years but in silos of proprietary systems. We look forward to working with the other members of this consortium to influence global standards and develop best practices." Shankar Sitarama, CTO of YoGeo, said, "As a technologist, I am delighted to work with the Digital Twin Consortium to create the specifications necessary for interoperability. Digital Twin Consortium will influence standards that will allow all the participants to interact, exchange and build alongside others for greater impact and reuse."
"YoGeo's knowledge of spatial intelligence will be invaluable to the members of the Digital Twin Consortium in many industries, said Dr. Richard Soley, Executive Director, Digital Twin Consortium. "We're delighted to welcome them to the consortium and look forward to the contributions they will make toward advancing digital twin technologies."
About YoGeo (www.YoGeo.co)
YoGeo has been focused on spatial intelligence - the notion that every object has a place in space and time, and its properties can be made instantly relevant and actionable. YoGeo has created and patented a unique "Smart Address Object" (USPTO 10433116B1), which acts as a handle to create an object specification for any object, stationary or in motion. Using these technologies, YoGeo has created geospatial communication applications (MapTalk), messaging (GeoMsg) and vertical applications for smart parking, proximity merchandising in malls and cargo logistics. YoGeo is now engaged in creating digital twins to model company operations under COVID-19 guidelines. Please contact YoGeo at digitaltwin@yogeo.co for further details.
