Today, The League of Intrapreneurs announced
Global Intrapreneur Week, a free virtual summit showcasing the power of intrapreneurs to tackle the world's most complex and urgent challenges. The summit will explore how employees around the world are
applying entrepreneurial approaches to address new demands posed by the coronavirus pandemic and to accelerate the creation of more equitable, inclusive and sustainable economies.
Global Intrapreneur Week is not just another webinar; this summit will offer authentic stories, practical insights, and engaging formats to inspire people to join the intrapreneur movement.
Intrapreneurs are a special breed of employee. They see big challenges - like the current pandemic - as opportunities to accelerate innovation. Right now, we need to mobilize an army of intrapreneurs to bring creative and compassionate solutions to our communities, says Maggie De Pree, Co-Founder of The League of Intrapreneurs.
This pandemic is spotlighting the lack of equality in our societies. Intrapreneurs are essential to change agents who are innovating from within their companies and organizations to create a more just and sustainable world, adds Markus Hipp, Director of the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt and a Global Intrapreneur Week partner.
From June 8th-12th, The League of Intrapreneurs, in partnership with the School for Social Entrepreneurs, BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt, and SingularityU Canada, will host a curated platform of over forty engaging workshops on topics such as regenerative economy, business deceleration, radical collaboration, plus virtual campfires, meditation and creativity sessions. GIW highlights include:
A fireside chat with CEOs on humanizing organizations, featuring Paul Polman, former CEO of Unilever, Tania Cosentino, General Manager, Microsoft Brazil, and Bill Winters, CEO of Standard Chartered, facilitated by Gib Bulloch, Author of The Intrapreneur: Confessions of a Corporate Insurgent.
A workshop on radical collaboration exploring how to build back better post-COVID, with Denise Hills, Global Director, Sustainability, Natura, Joao Brites, Global Director, Corporate Affairs, AB Inbev in conversation with experts from The Partnering Initiative, Business Fights Poverty and The League of Intrapreneurs.
