Considering the changing consumer behavior, we carried out an,according to a Consumer Research carried out by i2iresearch in May 2020. For the survey, 962 respondents across 6 major cities in India, were covered.
Key insights / trends from the survey are:
- Significant drop in non-essential expenses
- Increase in savings
- Only 6.7% considered home loan moratorium
- Consumers are spending more time on Entertainment.
- Average Time Spent per day: Working 4.65 hrs | Entertainment 4.89 hrs
- Socializing, Holiday & Restaurant Dine-in are most missed activities
- Work from home not enjoyed by majority, missing their work-place despite the traffic stress
- Consumers have found new solutions through online service providers; Health-tech, Ed-Tech & Online Fitness have had higher consumer base addition, followed by Meat Delivery
